I've been making my own pizza sauce, but it's a major hassle, and I just can't get it quite right (usually, it leaves the crust soggy). I'd tried other "canned"/bottled sauces from the local supermarket, and found them far too sweet for my taste. One "high end" sauce was far too acid. I'd almost give up finding a sauce with a decent balance of sweet to acid. Stumbled on this one on another site, read the reviews, and it seemed that most folks really liked it. Decided to give it a try, and BOY am I impressed! This is the one for me. Perfect balance of sweetness and acid, with just a slight hint of heat/spiciness. Nice robust tomato flavor that is a perfect compliment to my sausage, peppers, olives, and mushrooms. A little part-skim mozzarella and I've got a very nice pizza. And no soggy crust!
