Our old potholders were getting worn out so we purchased this multipack to replace them all. As one of our volunteers lit a pot holder on fire, I tested the flame retardant nature of these and it did not light on fire. Also, I can hold a pan heated to 500 degrees for about 30 seconds with these pot holders.
