What's to be said about the 8" that hasn't been said about the 6"? It's a nice size to cover a plate to keep food warm while finishing other things, good size for reheating leftovers in a fry pan. The finish tells me that I should probably not run it thru the dishwasher as it may turn dull and the rolled rim might retain water if soaked. I got a couple spare knobs as other review mentioned they broke one. Hope I never need them. Optimistic.
