Perfect! Lightweight, thin wood that drys very quickly on top of a pizza oven. Cleans well with a metal bench scraper and a damp towel.
These peels are okay. I purchased two. The first one broke in 2 days. The second is going on week 3. They are okay for the price. Will probably give them another shot.

I bought this wood peel to use in my own home because I just got a wood fire oven. It feels pretty light and after using it about 5-6 times, the wood has turned black from the fire. This is normally used for pizza, but I've used this on out appetizer table as a serving board with many compliments. Too cute! The wood is not too heavy to handle.
From the second I picked this up I realized how poorly it was made. Soft wood and extremely light weight. After hand washing, drying and oiling the first day we noticed it started to bow. But like they say, "you get what you pay for".

These peels work well for light duty use and look beautiful, they are smooth and lightweight. For the price, they are fantastic but be aware that they are made from soft spf woods, not durable hardwoods.
This peel is decently build and feel solid in the hand. bread or pizza releases easily. I have found it cleans easily and is great for general prep-work as well.

Great pizza peel. I love the length of the handle. Be ware that it comes unfinished. I put a few coats of mineral oil on it before using it. I also drilled a hole in the handle so I could hang it up.
Very good deal for the price. Wood is a little brittle but with a little oil and conditioner its pretty solid. We bought four for a event and these well did the job. I spent about $16 on conditioner and oil and they look great. Hopefully they will last for a while now. I will condition a few more times and see how the wood soaks it in.
I just bought 20 of this pizza peels, I dont even used it and it brokes into pieces. The peel got wet and it completly separates, I just regreted buying this cheap peels

purchased the peel to be used for baking pizzas and bread at home. very sturdy and well made floured and placed items on the peel was able to work with them very easily and nice size handle for getting items in and out with out need to be so close to a hot oven
very nice paddle for the price. it is a sturdy, lightweight paddle. long handle would be useful for commercial oven, but is not necessary for home oven. easy enough to cut handle shorter if you like! good product!
