I bought three of these chef hats along with matching white aprons. One set for myself, and two sets to give as Christmas gifts - all for home use. I'm very glad that I paid a bit more for these hats rather than 'going cheap'. The quality is great, and the pleated design has that 'look of professionalism'. And I must say the shipping was very fast. Indeed. You've earned a five-star rating from me. BTW I intend to post a photo after the Christmas gifts are opened. I know my daughter is going to look great as she prepares our Christmas dinner!

I appreciate this type of chef hat versus the skull cap for a few reasons. First, they wash well. Second, they hold a LOT of hair in the cap. Very important when working in a restaurant. Third, they are versatile in the way they can be worn. They can be puffed on top, pushed to the side, pushed towards the back. What I don't appreciate is the velcro. It can detach or become worn and not work well. Also, in my experience with our students, the caps need to have more room to spread. By this I mean they need to be able to expand for larger heads. I wonder if an elastic bottom in addition to the velcro may help.

Nice adjustable chefs hat in a traditional white. We offer different levels of positions at our bakery, and color coordinate according to level and position. A Colored chef hat makes this job much easier.
