This spreader is suitable for professional snow removal companies, and it is perfect for efficiently spreading salt, ice melt, halite, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, and calcium chloride. It is not recommended for use with rock salt, sand, sand mixes, pelletized lime, lime, or lime powders. With a weather- and rust-resistant poly hopper and a rugged, powder-coated steel frame, this spreader is designed for longevity and precision. A cover is included to protect your salt and ice melt from rain and snow. The hopper holds up to 80 lb. and has an enclosed gear box to protect the gears from harsh weather. Plus, the wide-tread, 12" pneumatic tires offer stability even on rough, uneven terrain.
