Accurately measure food temperatures with this CDN DTT450 ProAccurate 2 3/4" digital waterproof pocket probe thermometer. Featuring a 1.5 mm thin tip on a 2 3/4" stainless steel stem, this thermometer allows you to measure the internal temperature of a variety of foods. The yellow color is perfect for creating a HACCP system so this thermometer can be used for poultry. Plus, the thermometer is made with food-safe ABS plastic with a BioCote antimicrobial coating for added sanitation.
You can use this thermometer to gauge temperatures between -40 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit or -40 to 230 degrees Celsius. The USDA food-safe temperature guide helps your staff learn and recognize the safe zones. Recording temperatures is easy with the data hold function. The field calibration also ensures accuracy so you can be confident in the temperature readings. The easy on / off button also has an auto-off feature after 10 minutes to conserve the LR44 battery. The protective sleeve has a pocket clip for added convenience and there is a 34" string to wear the thermometer around your neck or hang it on a hook for storage. Thanks to its waterproof design this thermometer can be easily cleaned.

I had a interesting experience with this thermo. Fresh out of the package it wasn’t working properly. It displayed ‘Ofl’ and I couldn’t calibrate it. “I’ll contact support and get a replacement” I say to myself and toss it on the counter. I buy a new (overpriced) thermo at a local market on my way to work. A week goes by (I haven’t contacted support yet).I’m at work and forgot my (overpriced locally purchased thermo) at home. I text my wife and ask her to bring it when she comes in later. She brings the broken one when she comes in. But it’s not broken anymore! I try to show her the weird display message but it works! I go get ice water and it calibrates! Is my wife magic? She said she dropped it.
