I ordered these a few years ago and they were great, lint free out of the bag. This new batch leaves tiny microfibers over all glassware. I've washed them twice now (separately, air dry) and they are still shedding.

I use this cloth for glasses. glass surfaces. to polish silverware, and wipe chafing dishes. The only thing I have not used it on is wood. No lintdries quickly and washes well. Didn’t use fabric softener and they came out like new.
At 16 x 16 these cloths are not only a great size they are excellent quality. Thick, soft and strong. Work great for wiping down stainless steel appliances.
Incredible for getting a shine and cleanness to glasses, silverware, or even computer screens. The cloth is huge being four inches over a foot on both sides so ti can be cumbersome, in fact we may cut some of them in fourths for smaller jobs like mirrors and silverware
Bought these to polish wine glasses in our restaurant and they are certainly not lint free. They leave a tremendous amount of fine lint on our glasses. They may work for mirrors and more janitorial applications but are not fit for polishing glassware.

For use on a car window it does certainly get the job done but you really need to work it. It gets tiring after awhile but it does make it shine. Other than that its worked wonderfully.
