This smoothie stabilized powder does the job it claims. Since it’s a tapioca base product, a problem arises that it leaves a glutinous residue at the bottom of the blender pitcher after the drink is poured. Hopefully, there will be a solution for this.

This is a great product and does as advertised. My only complaint is that the powder does not always completely blend in our shakes which leaves customers sucking up sticky gelatinous wads! I have tried blending it in the milk before adding the ice cream but it still has those gooey wads in it.

So I only use this stabilizer when i am making a blended drink. I don't use this on any of my iced drinks. Now without this after about a hour or so the drink has a powdery taste while with this it helps keep the taste even after it sits for a while.
