A versatile and highly effective precaution against fires, this Badger Extra 21111 5 lb. carbon dioxide self-expelling fire extinguisher is an excellent choice for industrial facilities! With a UL Rating of 5-B:C, it is designed for performance against Class B and Class C fires such as liquid, gas, and electrical fires. Thanks to the carbon dioxide extinguishing agent, it will put out fires without leaving behind residue and damaging equipment. Its operable temperature range of -22 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit makes it effective in a variety of climates, while its discharge range of 3' to 8' allows you to safely fight fires from a distance.
This extinguisher's heavy-duty, chrome-plated brass valve and stainless steel handle, lever, and hose band are extremely durable. It also boasts a rugged aluminum cylinder and internal siphon tube. This cylinder meets DOT-3AL and TCM-3ALM requirements, and it is marked "non-shat" per Federal specification RR-C-901E. For easy use, this unit has a simple pull ring pin. This is combined with an easy-to-read, 2-piece nameplate for simple operation in the event of an emergency. This extinguisher has an impressive operating pressure of 850 PSI.
This extinguisher comes complete with a wall hook for mounting on flat, vertical surfaces. It meets USCG Approval Type B:C, Size I, and it should be hydrostatically tested every 5 years. It also meets DOT requirements if you wish to mount it on a vehicle (bracket sold separately).
