Clear plastic guard fits as expected. Plastic is clean and scratch free. "Door" works as expected. Packaging is apparently inadequate as the box it was delivered in appeared in good shape and we did not have an immediate need to open it and the product was damaged. I don't know if the damage happened in transit or before it was shipped. I opened it past the 5 day window and so Webstaurantstore won't do anything about it.

We purchased this machine to use our our mobile concession trailer. We use 8 to dogs and it has worked very well for us. It feels like it was well put together. The temperature control knobs on the front are very easy to use. Cleaning is a breeze with the slide out trays. We are very happy with the purchase.
