Yet another defective Avantco product. This part is plastic and it holds a door that weighs 50 pounds. We own two of the Avantco refrigerators that this bracket mates to and the brackets have broken on both units TWICE. This has led to buying 2 replacment doors because when this top bracket breaks, the GLASS door falls off and shatters. I have notified Avantco and informed them of the problem, telling them they need to make this bracket out of steel or even aluminum. They state, "We will forward your comments along to the engineering team." 3+ years later and nothing. Joke!
