ARY VacMaster 87653 2.5 Qt. Vacuum Canister

i use these containers daily and would be at a loss without them, but they do not last over 6 months! i purchased them originally because they looked thicker than other brands, but the acrylic container cracks and will not hold a vacuum. i have lowered the vacuum i use and they still crack. it would be great if the had a medium and an extra large size, as well and it would be perfect if the clear part was glass. it would be worth paying more for.

This thing works great for marinating when time isn't on your side. I use it with my VacMaster Pro 350, which supports this accessory in multiple ways (marinating and releasing several times over intervals, or vacuum and marinading for storage purposes).

This is an excellent product. It can hold a seal really well and it makes product last a really long time. It's also reusable, meaning you can save the environment one bag at a time!

I like the canister. It is sturdy, works well, and holds a lot. it plugs easily into the accessory port on my Vacmaster pro 275, and seems to seal better than the smaller external canister from vacmaster.

If you are a fan of vacuum sealing your food, this is a great container for it. It's kind of pricey, but fantastic quality overall.

The 2.5 qt is a large size for food storage. I usually use this size if I have meat that has been marinated over night.

These are bigger & more durable than the food saver containers. It's a real nice treat when you open the valve and you hear air coming out as if you opened a carbonated beverage!

This is a good size for left over pretzels. We are going to try hard taco shells in this container, because we keep cracking the shells in our vacmaster. I think the smaller canisters lose the air, and seem to have pressure cracks on the bottoms, although they are still usuable.

Love this canister it is nice and big and perfect for fresh vegetables out of the garden or to marinate your favorite meat. Could not be happier witht he ease of use of this product.

Outstanding product that we use along with our VacMaster Vacuum Sealer. Can reliably seal with the hose attachment on sealer. We use it for marinating Steaks to keeping crepe batter fresh.

I find this canaster very handy and its nice being that its reuseable.Keeps everything fresh and is easy to use with your vacmaster.I would like to see even larger canasters become available and also freezable canasters.This is truely an asset to your vacuuming needs.
