The size of this vacuum canister is perfect for making individual portions to save. The actual vacuum mechanism does not work 100% of the time for me but it is still a good size storage container.

This is a very convenient container for being able to vacuum pack items. It enables you to reuse and reduce all sorts of plastic consumption!
It is nice having a reusable vacuum container, especially for certain applications. I keep yeast in mine, which lets me both refrigerate ( the canister is fridge safe) and vacuum seal my yeast, to keep it fresh. The canister is sturdy and thick, but it sometimes needs a couple of tries to get it to hold vacuum (an issue that neither the bags nor the larger external canister does not seem to have.) Still for certain uses, it is great, and the price is pretty reasonable.
This works well with my vaccum packaging system. I think it's priced fairly and it seems like it will do a great job holding up in the future. Really recommend.
I purchased the ARY VacMaster 0.5 quart vacuum canister to use with the vacuum sealer. It is handy to have this available to seal extra portions.
