This is a great little mason jar with handle glass jar. It appears polished and shiny, and great for ice cream floats, etc. It is smaller than at first imagined, but possibly just the right size. It is not as thick or heavy as one might desire, but again, probably just enough. It claims to be lead free and yet the Proposition 65 warning appears also. Made in France apparently, one wonders if there are any substances leaching out of the glass that we are not aware of. I think probably safe for anything cold or room temperature, anyway. Nice for flowers! Some were broken on shipping, but gladly and easily replaced by Webstaurant! Thank you, keep up the excellent work! Would like to see an included top, best done in stainless steel, then could make sand, rocks, etc., displays inside. Would like to see thicker and heavier walls. Would like to see no warnings at all about drinking out of it. But, all in all, a great little jar!
