I was very excited to get these bins. They were the perfect size to store large quantities of flour, sugar, and grains. The description said they were stackable. However, after using these bins, I can confidently say they are not stackable. As soon as a second bin is placed on top, they pop open. I have to use duct tape to keep them closed. Sadly, I was too busy to return them within the allotted time, so I am stuck with them. If you have limited space for storage, I do NOT recommend these bins. Very disappointed.

No matter what anyone says, these are not airtight. They are affordable, but the covers break very quickly in the hinge area. If you are short on cash for your business, then these will do for about 1 to 2 years. If you can afford it, you can get a better option. As someone else said, they are not really stackable. The problem is that once you add weight to them, the covers bow.

These bins are among the most affordable dry storage containers on this site. I had been using 10-gallon buckets to store flour, but those could not fit an entire 50lb bag at once and were difficult to fill without making a mess. These new bins are much larger and easier to load. The lids don't fit as tightly as I would like, so if you have issues with pests, these might not be for you. However, storing and retrieving flour is much easier with this sort of bin, as you do not need a prying tool like you would for a bucket. These fit nicely on wire shelves and come with labels and color-coded tabs.

I have been looking for a bin that not only would fit in my kitchen but also my budget. Comes in a box of four which was perfect for me, since the others will be used for other flours and sugars. I don’t mind that there aren’t wheels. Love that I can hear it snap to ensure it is closed. Has two openings.

For my kitchen, the Araven 09144 has been a very useful tool: it keeps ingredients organized, facilitates rotation with its FIFO system, and allows for quick viewing of contents. If you will be using it in spaces with low humidity and moderate loads, it performs very well. If you are going to subject it to more demanding conditions (high humidity, many stacked units), it is advisable to reinforce the seal or consider more robust models.
