Amoroso's 10" Philadelphia Hearth-Baked Sliced Hoagie Rolls - 48/Case

We started purchasing these sub roll in July 2022 and at first where please with the quality but just recently the ones we received shrunk so much we can no longer fit 4 meatballs on them for our meatball sub! Very disappointed.

After moving from my hometown in Philly to Ohio over 9 years ago, I quickly realized that could not find a decent roll anywhere! I looked high and low for a nicely crusted roll only to be disappointed. I was so happy when I found out that I could order the famous Amoroso rolls I love from Philly! These rolls arrived fresh. They are the perfect roll for making a hoagie and cheesesteak. Excellent crust on the outside and soft on the inside. Ordering online was easy, and the rolls arrived quickly. I double bagged each bag of rolls and put them in my large freezer. They will last awhile! Even with the shipping costs, the total price per roll ends up being about what I'd pay in the supermarkets in Philly. Will order again. Thanks!

I purchased these for Philly cheesesteaks. I thought they would arrive frozen but they were not and had gotten very hot in the delivery truck which I think ruined them. Also, they were not packaged for shipping- just loose bags of rolls in a box. They had gotten shoved around so at least half were crushed to the point they were unusable. So I had 60 rolls which had to be used immediately (since they were previously frozen), half were crushed and the remaining ones had a gummy texture from being too hot. Not a good experience.

Have had Amoroso's product before, this one did not hold up. Barely sliced, and all buns arrived flattened due to shipping. (which I know is not their problem) but that is a factor that needs to be considered. Will probably not re-order thru webstaurant for these items again.

Love this roll and specifically sought it out to use in our taproom. We order multiple cases every 2-3 weeks, and when they are shipped there are always atleast two boxes taped together so they're shipped as one, this causes a large number of the rolls that are in the case to be crushed. -1 star for this, if they ship them separately this would get the 5 stars the roll deserves.

Whenever you read about phillys and what makes them so delicious it comes back to one thing and that’s the bread. This Amoroso Hoagie Roll is the difference maker between an okay cheesesteak and a great cheesesteak.

Sadly not in good shape upon arrival, many smashed, several were hard on the ends. Definitely not 12”, all were about 10”. Should be advertised as 10”. Really hoping these would work because they taste good and have a nice texture.

The rolls arrived in a timely manner but half of them were squished flat. Yes, there was a cardboard devider in there but that's not enough. They need to figure out a more sturdy way to keep the rolls from getting flattened. Other than That... they were Fresh and delicious.

Best rolls ever!!!!! My husband and I moved to Georgia 10 years ago and sandwiches just never tasted the same. We missed these rolls and were so happy that we could order them online. All the rolls showed up perfectly packaged and we put them right in the freezer. Now we can make cheesesteaks and hoagies from our home.

These rolls are the best around especially when you now live i Texas and I will continue to buy them here. They sent them quick and it great shape.

The rolls were great ex dot some of them were shorter than others. So short I had to put them in a combo and put them on sale

We loved these 8 inch rolls! However, lately they seem to be more like 5 inches instead of 8in! The last few orders had shorter rolls. Fix this please! We ordered the 10in to see if they’d be better—but they’re a little too long for us and require more product!

These rolls are the best and they freeze in the original bags exceptionally well. I've had mine in the freezer for months and they defrost nice and soft. They do start to dry out and don't hold up to moist fillings like they do when they first arrive, but they're still better than anything I can buy in local stores. They're soft and chewy and hold up great with cheese steaks and hoagies. I've never had one fall apart in my hands.

These rolls are amazing! We had a luncheon with 200 people and sub sandwiches were made with this product. The bread was fresh, had a great taste and it held up well with all the sandwiches being made the day before the event. We will definitely purchase these again! Thank you!

These rolls came just in time to serve our yummy sandwiches! They were super soft and split down the middle for easy filling. They tasted sweet and hearty like a good sub roll should.

Very disappointed the rolls were shipped thawed out, they are supposed to be frozen until ready for use. Ordered more from a company that will send frozen.

I normally order these rolls 10 inch, my customers love them for their cheesesteaks. Not once did i complain about how the ends were bent or the occassional one that was squished inpay transit but when i didnt get them on a timely basis and sent a email i was told i just didnt pay for express shipping im done buying them through here, going elsewhere

These are awesome! I would definitely buy these again. Nice hoagie roll, doesn't fall apart when preparing the sandwich and holds up when eating it. Definitely worth the price!!!!

The rolls were supposed to show up Wednesday Thursday or Friday for the Superbowl party on Sunday. The rolls showed up on Monday. I got reimbursed 20 bucks for the shipping but I still paid 40 dollars for the rolls that you did not deliver when you said you would. I want my 40 dollars. And tell me what to do with all of these rolls. Very dissatisfied, Andy

Absolutely love these. So soft and fresh upon arrival. I was buying a local brand but wanted something different so decided to order these. Well worth the $$$. Highly recommend.

I was actually not on the receiving end of this purchase but I sent it to my 2 friends in Austin Texas. Why not share the best roll in the northeast with the homies down south. 10/10 cheesesteaks

The 12 inch rolls are good for cutting in two for two meals. Think I prefer the 10 inch for one large meal. Came in fresh, I can freeze them for 6 months or so with no burn.

These rolls are the real deal! Straight out of Philly.
