American Standard Water Heaters CE-80-AS-18 Details
Instantly meet your facility's hot water demands with this American Standard Water Heaters heavy-duty electric water heater. Boasting 18kW of power, this unit includes a heavy-gauge 80 gallon steel tank lined with DuraGlas and fired at 1,600 degrees Fahrenheit for optimal protection against corrosion. It also features magnesium anodes for extended tank life, along with low-watt density incoloy heating elements that feature dry fire protection and reduced lime accumulation. Its full-flow brass drain valve allows for easy drainage.
This unit is easily field convertible to suit a variety of needs. It features 3" thick foam insulation to maximize heat retention. Plus, each of the 3 heating elements features an automatic surface thermostat for variable temperature control. The thermostats are fully adjustable to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. For added convenience, this unit comes complete with a factory-installed fuse box and factory pre-wired control box. A full-size hand hole cleanout enables easy tank inspection and sediment removal. For added safety, the unit comes with a pre-installed temperature and pressure relief valve, streamlining installation and ensuring pressure regulation for reliable operation. This unit is rated to 150 PSI working pressure and has an 83 GPH recovery at a 90-degree rise. It requires a 240V, 3 phase electrical connection to operate.
