The cake plate and dome are gorgeous, however the domes are fragile and keep cracking and splintering. Do not wash in a high temp commercial dishwasher. Even though they are marketed as dishwasher safe they actually don’t hold up. Make sure to hand wash and then be very careful not to drop or bump them as they do break very easily. I purchased to replace my glass cake stands and dome because I didn’t want to break them only to have these be just as fragile.
