We have investigated several options for plating at our shop and this is one we are trying. The planks are a good size but they do come quite unfinished and are pretty thin. I don't think they're a bad value, however, if you planned on using this for plating and not cooking on I'm not sure it is the right option for you. We will see if anything changes after we've varnished them and I will try to update this review
These are wonderful cedar planks and a good value. The planks impart a great cedar flavor when used on the grill. We'll definitely be purchasing more!
These are fantastic planks. We used them as a disposable for an event. We branded each plank with the event logo and served a surf and turf dinner on them. They are thin with ample plating space for any entree. I would not recommend attempting to reuse them and would consider them a single use product. I am not sure how well they will recover from a washing cycle. Not to mention they are very dry and absorb liquid from food very quickly. However, for a single use product to make a statement for an event or party these are perfect! I would recommend this product. Creativity is the only hurdle with these neat planks!

These planks are the right size for a large piece of fish and they are thick enough not to burn easily. They need to be soaked in water, and they have a nice cedar taste. great price for this and the 12 pack is a good pantry staple.
