These are very durable and good looking mugs. We have several different mules on our menu and serve them all in this mug. The handle is decorative but is easy to hold despite being a little on the thin side. None have been damaged or discarded. They wash well and stay shiny for the most part, however tiny little scratches from normal use do start appearing after a few months which takes off a star. After about six months you can definitely tell the used mugs from the not-so-used ones. I think about after a year the heavily used ones might be a little too worn out to look decent.
