This pie pan is thick, solid aluminum, and about as sturdy and well-performing as that sounds. I would keep this piece in the kitchen though - the outer sides of the pan have ridges that look a bit rough, they scratch up easily, and the stickers it comes with are difficult to fully remove, even with an abrasive scrub. That said, I loaded it with a dip regardless, and it still looked quite nice.
We use them at the restaurant for mini pies. If is the prefect size for one person or for big groups to try as many flavors as they want. Plus the aluminum material make it great to bake and warm up in to serve them with ice cream.
