We purchased this to use as a turning peel in one of our small ovens, it has worked ok for us but it isn't durable or strong enough to withstand heavy use, the handle is soft pine and the aluminum head warps easily. An all stainless peel is generally needed for heavy commercial use

Like the size and feel. Great for working events with a small often and personal pies. I wouldn't use it on larger pizzas, but I think anyone in the business knows what size peel they need. If you need something for personal pies and a smaller oven, then this will do the trick.

Great but small peel, i think this one works better with a long handle, but the quality is really good, works great for a short oven.

A nice quality paddle for turning pizzas in the oven. I have found that it works the best turning pies 14 inches or smaller. It does seem to turn pies better than the square versions

This this is so cute and tiny. But it does the job of turning pizzas in the oven. I can turn a pizza up to about 14 inches with this thing. Anything bigger and I'd prefer the larger round size.

I needed a small round peel like this is in order to rotate my pies and take them out of the oven. This peel is sturdily built and has a nice, long handle to make the job easy!

This is my preferred peel when using my portable outdoor wood fired oven, It's round head makes it easy to get under the screen in the confines of the small oven.

If you're going to purchase a stone-deck oven (or build a wood-fired pizza oven) you'll definitely want to bake the pizzas directly on the stones. This handy dandy tool is a gem for sliding pizzas in and out of ovens, giving them a turn half way through their cook time, etc. We do pizzas as small as 9" (which we're able to throw three of on this peel) and as large as a 16". With a little cornmeal sprinkled on the peel it works great for letting pizzas cook up fresh and crispy on the stones - an absolute must!
