These are beautiful bookcases. All of the pieces are heavy duty holding even encyclopedia sets without sagging. I bought 4 of Alera's Valencia bookcases so far and love them. Unlike other bookcases, the backs are NOT cardboard but heavy duty particle board that piece together. Assembly is also easy. Just follow the instructions.
