Overall these are a pretty good quality and hold up well long term. I've never personally had an issue with the laminat peeling and this gets used daily. I would recommend for a commercial setting.

Plus, thanks to the 3 mm edge banding, it is sure to withstand consistent use.
Featuring a full-length modesty panel, this mahogany colored desk provides the privacy you desire. To ensure balance, leveling glides are included to help compensate for uneven floors, while two grommets are provided for cable and wire management. The 59 1/8" x 29 1/2" rectangular surface can be combined with Alera's return/bridge shell or credenza shell (sold separately) to form a "L" or "U" shaped workstation!
