It's shipped in a very sturdy container so there should never be any shipment damage. The table top is very heavy so three people are needed to set it up after assembly. In use it's very solid. I've had no difficulty cleaning it. The casters (optional) make it easy to move out of the way in my small kitchen. Highly recommended but I gave it four stars rather than five because of two minor improvements that could be made. 1. The tips on the legs are not removable (pressed on) so to install casters, they need to be installed upside down (or the legs could be cut down) which raises the height by another 5 cm or so in addition to the 10-12 cm increase for the casters.
