This Watts A2-IntelliTimer is an accessory to be used with your Watts IntelliFlow automatic washing machine shutoff valve. The A2-IntelliTimer is a remote solid-state timer, and it allows the IntelliFlow to be used in applications where the washing machine or a combination washer / dryer is 240V powered. When the timer's button is depressed, it starts a two-hour cycle.
This timer is designed to be plugged into the IntelliFlow power outlet. It should be installed in a convenient location and connected to the low voltage power supply. Activating the timer's push button causes current flow, which the IntelliFlow detects, and then the IntelliFlow actuates the solenoid valves to allow water to flow to the washing machine. This also initiates the two-hour timing sequence, and when that completes, it de-energizes the IntelliFlow and shuts off the flow of water. This time sequence can be easily interrupted by pushing the button a second time, and a green LED lights up when the A2-IntelliTimer is energized.
