I'm going to make some assumptions and say the bad reviews here are because they didn't run the shredder with lube. Some food grade grease goes a long ways in a few locations that rub. Run it for just a minute dry and take it apart and look for any wear markings and make sure you lube those spots every time you use this attachment. Make sure you empathize the critical importance of this to any help. Learn from my mistakes lol. This being said it will not last and run in a commercial setting for more than a few years. I'm on my third one in 12 years now. That's why I'm here, again. One broke because it was dropped from 4 feet onto tile, another the brass spindle in the middle would loosen and put pressure on the splines and grind metal there. I suppose I could have taken it to my metal shop and had it fixed for good, but it was very worn and had a large crack in one of the splines making it flex.
