The 6" Bright White Square China "Bowls" are not really bowls, but more of a plate and we love them. We were a bit disappointed when we first purchased them but love the uniqueness that these bring to the table setting as a plate and we have gotten a lot of compliments. They are durable and well made.
:( Took a leap of faith and ordered these un-reviewed bowls. Use caution if you decide to order. The product photos do not provide any scale or show what they look like in relation to food (or even hands)!! They are more like plates than bowls - the sides of the bowl are so short and graduated outward at a steep angle that I cannot fathom putting any liquid in these (they would spill easily and be very difficult to eat out of). The description says they are great for soup, and I have to strongly disagree! The bowls themselves are cute, but we ONLY ordered them for serving soup / stew. I contacted customer service to inquire about a return (many purchases, but first time ever returning) and they let me know that there would be a significant restocking fee plus shipping charges, which Read More

These bowls are the perfect size for us... a gracious soup bowl or an elegant salad bowl. In our kitchen, every item that can be used in multiple dishes is a win, and this one is one of our favorite wins!
this is a great size for a salad bowl, I just love the look of square right now and these fit right in. quality is pretty good with only a few blems (black spots) per case.
