5 lb. Basic Muffin Mix - 6/Case

I ordered a whole case after reading the reviews. I was very excited as I thought a premade base would make it easier for our staff (who are not professional bakers) to bake high quality muffins and be able to get creative with additives and flavors. The basic flavor was nothing short of bland. They are very dense and required a LOT of experimentation in order to come up with a muffin that was even close to being edible. Wanted to love these but couldn't. We have bags and bags of it still and decided just to make our muffins from scratch.

I was excited to try this mix in my bakery as a short cut for our everyday muffins. I mixed up one bag and divided it into 6 bowls for different mix-ins to try. The batter was very sticky, so I added more water to some mixes and left the others sticky-trial and error. I did get excited when they were forming nice tops while baking, but… They were all horrible. Bland, dense, very gummy. You just can’t cut corners for a perfect muffin. I’ll continue to make my base from scratch.

Fantastic item! Very universal with multiple applications! High quality and a definite base product. Highly recommend and very competitive price point. We use in many dessert dishes as a base product and add uniqueness with additional ingredients.

this basic muffin mix is great. i reccomened putting blueberries in the mix before baking. the directions are simple and easy to follow. Worth it

The basic muffin mix is awesome and we love it for making fresh muffins in our sweets shop. The mx is a great buy and very moist.

Used in muffin maker and it works great. Just a little less water than in oven when baking instead. Makes very light n fluffy muffins.

Just add water and pour in commercial sheet pan or make your muffins. Great for catering a large crowd. After mixing the batter we split it into different bowls and added different ingredients for flavoring.

A great base layer muffin mix that has a really great texture and flavor. It is made so you can add in your flavors. We love throwing in chocolate chips.

This may be a basic muffin mix, but it sure does not taste basic at all. It actually came out of our ovens very moist. Delicious!
