These are a very affordable purchase and you get what you pay for. In terms of value, its there, but I personally didn't like how they discolored, how heavy that are (weight is necessary if you use these for fish), and I'd imagine you would have to replace these often.

These fish shears get the job done. They are very inexpensive and a must have for fish. I have used them multiple times so far and haven't had an issue.

Handles are to large for a comfortable grip,,they are very sharp but also very very rusty and keeps getting rusty, also so uncomfortable to hold.

These were a little bigger than I was expecting but they are sharp and work well. You can't really beat the price either, I think I'll need to keep them oiled so they don't rust, and I'm not sure how that will work inside the red tube part that covers the handles.

These shears are great for cutting fish. They are very durable and easy to hold in the hand. They cut fish so easily cutting the amount of time it takes when using other products.

They're nice and sharp! My only problem is that they rust easily, but at the price point, it's no big deal to take an extra few seconds to wipe the blades off really well.

Very sharp with nice big rubber hand holds. Originally came with very oiled sharp edges. Had to wash a few times to get rid of the smell. Works great.

Let me explain these are a fantastic value and I am not unhappy with the purchase. I got these and like the way they cut but I am unable to keep them in the kitchen. They were put away in a drawer and every time I opened the drawer I smelled motor oil -- it was the scissors. So they are now in our garage and I will use them to trim plants.

These shears are thick and hold up to fish fins and bones easily. I designate these for proteins, and not for mundane tasks such as cutting string.

We've had these shears for two months now. We picked them up for use out in our vegetable garden. Out of the box, they are very nice and sharp but they rust within a few hours if you clean the grease off of them as I had done. Where I intended to use them, they get wet, so I would not suggest getting them if you are hoping to use them on food related items. Not a good fit. We have since, however, moved them into the shop where they have redeemed themselves and replaced our box cutter as the go to for opening bags, boxes, etc. Very sharp, very strong and nearly indestructible.

These fish shears are very heavy duty stuff but the oil they used on the blades have a very high scent. You will have to wash several times to remove the smell.

I have never owned a pair of shears that are as sharp as these. They work great for everything, not just fish. They have kept their edge incredibly well too considering I have been using them for almost 2 years.
