This 3M Water Filtration Products 5558802 drop-in prefilter housing, which works with 9 3/4" cartridges, is meant to help protect equipment at point-of-entry. It is compatible with 3M's line of particulate and chlorine taste and odor reduction cartridges. The unit, which has max temperature and pressure ratings of 100 degrees Fahrenheit and 125 PSI, respectively, features a transparent sump and a pressure relief valve handle, and it also comes with 3/4" NPT connections and 1/2" adapters. A mounting bracket and reducing bushing are included. Pressure gauges and compatible cartridges are sold separately.
