This 3M Water Filtration Products 5557609 drop-in prefilter housing, which works with 19 1/2" cartridges, is meant to help protect equipment at point-of-entry. It is compatible with 3M's line of particulate and chlorine taste and odor reduction cartridges. The unit, which has max temperature and pressure ratings of 100 degrees Fahrenheit and 125 PSI, respectively, features an opaque sump and a shut-off valve handle for convenient maintenance. It also comes with 3/4" NPT connections and 1/2" adapters. A mounting bracket and reducing bushing are included. Pressure gauges and compatible cartridges are sold separately.
