Vent your cooking equipment safely with this 3M 615+ fire barrier duct wrap! This fire wrap is designed for use as part of an indoor or outdoor commercial kitchen exhaust system to create fire-resistant duct assemblies for grease and ventilation air ducts. It's compatible with most exhaust hoods, including Halifax hoods as well as NAKS grease ducts and accessories (sold separately), and is applied directly to the duct. This item should be applied in 2 layers for grease ducts, is sold as a roll, and covers up to 50 sq. ft. or 9 linear ft.

This fire barrier duct wrap forms a flexible 2-layer enclosure with up to a 2-hour fire-resistance rating and is designed as an alternate to a shaft enclosure per ASTM E 2336 standards. In a single-layer application, it meets ISO 6944 standards. The core insulation blanket is made with an inorganic fiber blanket encapsulated with a scrim-reinforced aluminum foil covering for blanket protection and less dust, with high strength and flexibility so it installs easily. It provides zero clearance to combustible construction throughout the enclosure system for congested spaces and features a 1 1/2" thickness with a 6pcf density. With its low weight, thin profile, and excellent insulating capabilities, this wrap is ideal for duct enclosure systems and can be used in combination with other Fire Barrier 3M products (sold separately) for additional fire safety.
