We could not do what we do without the 24 Compartment Catering Plate Rack for Plates up to 8 1/2". This increases our efficiency washing dishes 2x-3x. These racks fit up to a 8.5" plate and we typically uses them to wash and dry our orld Tableware Porcelana Coupe 7 1/4" Bright White Round Porcelain Plate. We do not use these racks for transport but you can if you would like. They can get heavy when full so be careful when carrying. We also suggest not stacking this over 4 high as they can become wobbly and tip over. This a great product and is key to our dish pit efficiency. ordered for concave 8.5" set. end slots won't flex enough to fit the full 24 as advertised, so only fits 22. It's not bowl depth by any means, maybe 3/8'... just enough to keep food from rolling off the edge while carried or held
