This steak paper makes a great backdrop to wrap and display any type of meat. It allows for a controlled flow of oxygen which ensures the meat will keep its bright red color as long as possible. This flow of oxygen also prevents the meat from "sliming", which can occur with airtight seals. These colorful steak paper sheets enhance the look of your meats while they are being presented in display cases. You can also write directly onto the sheet with a marker for labeling.

Good quality butcher paper. It does stick to meats when frozen, so its definitely worth using two sheets between each layer. Fits well into a half sized hotel/steam pan for separating sliced steaks in the freezer.
