Set Stylist

The styling team contributes to creating meaningful images and videos that adhere to our brand standards through thoughtful set and food styling. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

As a Set Stylist, you will be responsible for styling e-commerce product photography and 3D rendered images. Your role is key in our mission to craft visually compelling, story-driven scenes that meet brand standards while also elevating brands and products. Reporting to the Styling Manager, you will collaborate with other Set Stylists, Food Stylists, Render Artists, Product Photographers and Assistants. By drawing inspiration from diverse sources and peers, your creative input will contribute to a supportive, optimistic team environment focused on collaboration, and constant improvement. A portfolio submission is required. 

• Collaborate, communicate and coordinate with modeling agencies, brand managers, other stylists, render artists, photographers and assistants on and off set. 
• Follow a weekly production schedule as designed by the production team. 
• Plan, construct and style sets, props and merchandise per brand standards for photography and rendered images. 
• Partner with the Styling Manager to train and mentor styling team members. 
• Collaborate with the Styling and Media Managers to uphold current brand standards while setting new ones. 
• Leads weekly pre-production meetings and other essential meetings or brainstorming sessions. 
• Operating with a big-picture perspective and using an understanding of business needs to prioritize tasks.  
• Embraces change, shows agility, and is comfortable with ambiguity and working at a fast pace. 
• Maintains cleanliness and has a strong awareness of the prop and wardrobe inventory. 

We’re looking for a team member who: 

• A diverse portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in styling a variety of sets and merchandise. 
• Have 3-5 years’ experience as a set stylist or similar role working in a commercial/ retail setting, preferably e-commerce. 
• Associate or bachelor's Degree Fashion Merchandising, Advertising, Fine Arts, Interior Design or related field or equivalent functional experience in lieu of degree. 
• Stays current with kitchen, bath, restaurant and hospitality trends.  
• Interior design, SketchUp, Blender or other 3D program experience are a plus. 
• Ability to physically lift and move heavy objects up to 50lbs.
