Job Summary

This Inbound Material Handler role will be a split role that will be part inbound and part outbound. You will be tasked with learning both inbound and outbound functions and will be required to do all of those functions.

  • Unload trucks and sign BOL’s in a timely manner  
  • Process all incoming merchandise in an accurate and timely manner  
  • Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment to ensure a safe work environment  
  • Abide by all forklift safety training, must go through our training and certification on all equipment  
  • Report any forklift issues to ensure they are properly fixed by a trained technician  
  • Keep the work zone clean and orderly and help maintain a safe and clean work environment  
  • Put away products into specific bin locations in a safe and efficient manner  
  • Pick orders efficiently and accurately 
  • Pack orders following the SOPs and guidelines 
  • Perform other duties and tasks not listed as requested by the supervisor  

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Experience working in a distribution environment is preferred, but not required

Education
