Position Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for facilitating a variety of inbound or outbound functions of processing merchandise for fulfilling customer orders. These tasks must be completed to an efficient and accurate standard to ensure smooth operations. These positions require use of our internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment. Some, but not all, roles may include Powered Industrial Trucks.
Hours: Training on day shift, then Mon-Thu 6PM-4:30A

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, order pickers, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence
Customer service-oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations

Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 10 hours/day
