POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Team Lead maintains in-depth knowledge of our products and operating procedures and stays in regular contact with the shift manager and peers in each department to meet daily goals. This position identifies operating issues and takes corrective action as needed; this includes receiving and providing clear directions, as well as serving as a role model of our culture to effectively communicate with employees and drive engagement.

· Ensure that all orders are printed and picked in a timely manner; utilize the error log to document issues and track accountability
· Oversee pickers to ensure accuracy, picking is performed by layer, a clean-as-you-go approach is taken and return to stock skids are clear by the end of the shift.
· Coordinate pick-ups with all trucking companies to ensure timely scheduling.
· Oversee daily operations in the department to ensure a high level of productivity and quality while achieving operating goals; promote team adherence to Company policies and procedures
· Monitor and provide consistent feedback to employees on individual and team performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to promote standards for Quality and Productivity.
· Conduct daily team meetings to update employees on work expectations, task assignments, best practices, and operating expectations.
· Clearly communicate team goals, resolve problems as they arise, and answer any related questions
· Develop a cross-trained team that can flex into other departments or jobs as needed
· Maintain a high level of communication with Outbound teams and management along with partnering with other team leads to flex labor when necessary.

· Business Proficiency in English is required.

· Requires the ability to regularly lift/carry 50-75lbs. and push/pull up to 150 lbs.
· Requires the ability and willingness to be certified to operate a forklift.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.
